Resources : Other Libraries & Catalogs
The Sage College Libraries are open to the public and Albany campus students may use any resources available while visiting their libraries. Students may borrow resources from Sage via interlibrary loan
or with a DAP card.
AMC's Schaffer Library of Health Sciences allows the public to use their library from 8 am to
6pm, Monday-Friday. Only AMC employees and students are allowed to access the College's facilities after 6pm. This includes the library.
Albany campus students, faculty, and staff
have borrowing privileges. They may
check out up to 2 books at a time with their ACPHS ID.
The Schaffer Law Library is open to members of the general public who wish to use the library's collections from opening until 5:00 p.m. The United States and New York State document collections are available to the public for research during all hours the library is open. Except for the depository collections, the library is completely closed to non-Albany Law School students during reading/examination periods, which will be posted at the library.
With a valid ACPHS picture ID, Vermont campus faculty,
students, and staff may borrow books (limit of 10 at a time), use the library facilities, and access certain online databases for limited amounts of time.
Would you like to use other libraries in New York's Capital District? The Direct Access Program (DAP) allows our library users in good standing to borrow materials directly from participating libraries throughout the region.
You must have a DAP card to borrow from participating libraries. Cards are issued at the Lewis Library Circulation Desk Monday-Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm.
Some libraries will only lend to certain groups, such as faculty or graduate students. Please be sure to check in advance. You are responsible for abiding by the rules and regulations of each of the libraries from which you borrow.
