Services For Preceptors



Overview | Pull, Copy & Send | Interlibrary Loans

Overview

Preceptors can use their vouchers for interlibrary loan or pull, copy & send services. Requests for Document Delivery Program are to be made through the Division of Experiential Education. Please email Cindy Jablanski or call (518) 694-7365 to have your account established. Once your account is set up the Lewis Library will notify you. You should then contact Lewis Library directly to make desired transactions. This can be done by email or by phone at (518) 694-7270. The cost that will be deducted from the voucher is $100/10 articles or transactions.



Pull, Copy & Send

The Pull, Copy & Send service provides photocopies or sends originals of materials that are owned by the ACPHS Lewis Library. Articles that are available from the Lewis Library can be faxed, mailed, or emailed to you within 2 business days. Books available from the Lewis Library can be mailed to you with a stamped return envelope within 2 business days The due date is one month from check out.



Interlibrary Loan

Interlibrary Loan (ILL) procures materials that are not owned by the ACPHS Lewis Library. Journal articles obtained via ILL can be faxed, mailed, or emailed within two weeks. In general, ILL requests can take as little as 24 hours but may take 5 to 10 business days. Books available from the Lewis Library can be mailed to the voucher user (with stamped return envelope) within 2 business days. Due date is one month from date of check out.
